The Abandoned Gem Settlement is a location north of Diamond City on Homeworld.

The main entrance into the Gem settlement was twice as tall as Blue Diamond, being in a deep canyon that, according to the smoother plains within it, used to be underwater.
Much of the interior of the settlement resembled that of an abandoned underground quarry, which included various levitating crates and mine carts. Much of the floor was either that of metal or flattened sand like that of a cave, and is believed to be made underground as Gems came from the ground themselves.
History[]
During one point in history, the settlement used to be populated by various Gems working the quarries and mines, but eventually it became abandoned about 7,000 years ago according to Blue Diamond, due to an unknown creature driving Gems away.
Season 2[]
Lapis Lazuli, Sapphire, and Rarity went over to the settlement as Sapphire's favor towards Blue Diamond, in order to get to the bottom of the current mystery. They managed to find the answer after finding the creature eating some of the stray gemstones. In the end, they left the settlement and creature inside. It's currently still abandoned.
