Alicorns are a extremely rare species of Equestrian Pony found within Equus. While it can be argued, Alicorns possess the highest amount of magic, as of current they're the only ones able to move the sun and moon after Discord's involvement.
Physical Anatomy[]
Alicorns, by race, are the second-tallest of the pony races, with the exception being the Draconians, the tallest one shown within the series being Celestia herself, who is about as tall as a standard Human, taller if one included her horn. Alicorns have naturally longer legs, bodies, horns, and wings than compared to the other races.
Much like the other three races, Alicorns typically vary in appearances, and also possess unique Cutie Marks to one another. Alicorns are very long-lived, and as with Celestia and Luna, they could live for thousands of years, though this is debatable when comparing them to Cadance and Twilight Sparkle.
Culture[]
In pony society, the Alicorn is depicted as the perfect balance between all three main races: the flight of a Pegasus, the magic of a Unicorn, and the strength of a Earth Pony. All Alicorns are highly regarded as such, and typically seen in a royal light because of this, though this could be attributed to the involvement Celestia and Luna had as well, as they were the only one able to defeat Discord, and rule over the land there onward.
As for their personal beliefs, it has not been properly explored.
