My Little Universe Wiki

This consists of all the alternate timelines presented throughout the main series.

Study Timeline[]

According to Mushussu, there exists another timeline, or "dimension" as he refers to it, that mirrors the true Timeline in which Earth and Equestria had already met, but it happened far earlier than theirs did. He considers the true timeline luckier than this one.

  • Many of Earth's Mystical Creatures appeared far sooner. This was also how Mushussu's Bestiary categorized these creatures before they were encountered in the current Timeline.
  • Homeworld possibly didn't befriend Earth the same way as the true timeline did (if at all), as the Warp Pads connecting their worlds weren't built.

Butterfly Wings Timeline[]

This timeline is created when Starlight Glimmer forebade the completion of the Sonic Rainboom by Rainbow Dash. The events that follow are:

  • Celestia's sister makes her return from the moon as Nightmare Moon but she doesn't banish her sister. Possibly it was from her being reformed somehow, as she is shown to still care for her sister.
  • When the Crystal Empire returned, king Sombra also reappears and takes over the empire. Luna and Celestia try to fight him, but Celestia is killed in the process, leaving Luna to rule all alone. This sparks the Crystal War.
  • Nightmare Moon returns again, this time establishing the Lunar Empire and took over Equestria to the south as Sombra took control of the north.
    • Nightmare Moon passes a law that forbids any magic stronger than her own to live in her kingdom, on worry Sombra would use that against her.
  • The winter, possibly caused by the Windigo, turns Equestria colder and dryer than before - the Equestrian equivalent of the ice age. This resulted in the Changelings becoming extinct, which Nightmare Moon states is the only good thing to come from it.

Unintended Triangle Timeline[]

This possible timeline was foretold to occur by "The Spirit". She described this as the final future, saying "there're no more futures for (her) to show".
