Big Macintosh, or "Big Mac" for short, is a stallion working at Sweet Apple Acres, being apart of the extended Apple Family. He is also a member of The Ponytones.
Appearance
Big Mac is a tall stallion, taller than many of his relatives, with red fur and a ginger mane and tail. His hooves are shown cloven, with tannish hooves covered by red fur like a Clydesdale horse. His Cutie Mark is a cut open green apple, presumably a Macintosh apple like his name implies.
History
Season 1
He is first shown in the series alongside Apple Bloom in Sweet Apple Acres, helping the family in their usual harvesting of apples.
Season 6
In A Hoof in the Right Direction, Big McIntosh is shown to be a part of The Pony Tones, but loses his voice due to an annual turkey calling competition at Sweet Apple Acres. He lets Fluttershy sing in his place in a manly voice with him lip-syncing to her.
