The Blue Diamond Ruins is a Gem location starting to be built by Gems after discovery of Equus. It was left abandoned shortly afterwards, and is currently left in pure ruin, undisturbed.
Layout[]
The Blue Diamond Ruins had a look to a pre-established underground city, most of it flooded by underground rivers and waterfalls. Much of the ruins are covered in various plant life: underwater kelp, rock-clinging algae, to fields of sea grass along the floor, which was covered in sand from outside. The whole area had a air pocket inside as well, despite seemingly not connecting to the surface. The ruins also hold statues described as mirroring Blue Diamond holding a stone diamond, more similarly to the Moon Goddess Statue in overall structure.
According to the prehistoric life present within the settlement, this is the oldest area currently known of.
Underwater Entrance[]
The entrance from the ocean is engraved into a deepsea wall, the style similar to the Abandoned Gem Settlement on Homeworld. The door itself is engraved with the emblem of The Diamond Authority, which can be opened with members of the Diamond Royal Court, or those holding the Diamond Symbol (Rarity).
Trivia[]
- This is the first location in a chronological sense that Gems had ever been into Equus.
- It is seemingly made during prehistoric times, as most of the animals located there lived during the time of the dinosaurs.
