The Bugbear is a large creature on Equus, appearing very briefly in My Little Universe: Season 3, as a potential threat.

The Bugbear is seemingly a hybrid-like animal between a Hornet and a Panda Bear. It has two sets of forearms, one pair in a black furred upper torso and a white pair of arms on the sides of its stomach. Its back legs, stomach, and stinger are covered in yellow stripes. It also has small antennae on its head to replace its ears, and a set of insect wings jutting out its back.
Garnet and Jasper briefly fought one in "The Good Luck Package", when Garnet predicted one would arrive and tear apart Ponyville during the wedding. It fought against both the Gems for a bit until they both overwhelmed the animal, driving it away.
