Cloven Hoof is a Ram that lives in the countryside of Ramicorn, and the first resident of Equus Jasper came across.
Appearance
Cloven Hoof has a standard look for a Ram, with large curved horns reaching just behind his head, and two-toed hooves which give him his name. His fur is greyish blue, with a lighter underbelly.
On his return in My Little Universe II, his horns are smoother with duller tips, a tuff of fur under his chin, and a ring of clover around his neck.
History
Season 2
As Jasper was roaming the countryside, she came across Cloven Hoof as he was ramming against trees for their leaves. During this, he offered Jasper some, to which she quickly declined and left him. He tried to warn her of the upcoming storm, but Jasper ignored him. It wasn't until later that night that Cloven Hoof helped her out, letting Jasper stay with him for the night and out of the rain. The following day he joins Jasper in going pass the nearby mountains, namely because the next town was the same direction anyway. During the climb over, he stuck around and helped Jasper on the way, and told her that his conscience would've got him to do it anyway. He explained to Jasper what a conscience was and how everything has one, yet some find it harder to listen to than others do. Once they got over the mountain, they went their separate ways, Cloven telling Jasper that she was welcome to stop by his barn if she ever was to come by again.
My Little Universe II
Cloven Hoof returned as being the main tour guide for the Harmony Gems once they arrived in Ramicorn. At first he was quick to recognize Jasper, but seemed to be mistaken when Jasper didn't remember him right away. While going through the town, he asked them why they were coming by, learning about their involvement with Grogar. When they came across Collie Flower Hoof, he asks them to watch over her while they go to the Ramicorn library so she wouldn't get hurt. While in the library, he took the time to catch up with Jasper, learning that they weren't kidding about meeting Grogar. He reveals that he is extremely fond of Grogar, him being a heroic legend to him.
