Darastrix is a country located far west of Equestria, bordering the Kirin Empire of Neippon. It is the birthplace of the Draconians. The name itself is Draconic for "Dragon".
Layout[]
Darastrix's layout mirrors that of Ponyville but scaled up, the cottages and homes twice the size of a standard pony house. Much of the town is shown to be illy-kept, with dusty décor and described as being "a dead end neighborhood". An archway with the country name is at front of the town.

Season 4[]
The Mane Six, Steven Universe, Peridot, Amethyst, and Diopside decided to go into Darastrix in order to help Kyra against Porath. It was this visit that Steven and Amethyst fused into Smoky Quartz for the first time.
Season 5[]
The Crystal Gems and Mane Six return to Darastrix after a mysterious snowstorm covers the location, caused by the Giant Bird (Monster).
