Draconians are a large species of Pony found outside of Equestria. It is believed that they're part-dragon.
Physical Anatomy[]
Draconians are the largest species of known pony race in Equus, towering over most of its kin, and taller than an Alicorn. Draconian can grow seven to eight feet tall, and grow about ten to twelve feet long, including their tails, which take half of that length. While slight variations are known, most Draconian have horse feathering: tuffs of hair at the ends of their hooves, and all have a long, prehensile tail which is strong enough to lift a creature off the ground, and can be used as a form of weaponry due to the sharper tip.
Draconians are very old creatures, possibly due to their dragon traits, and can live for thousands of years at a time, evident with Kyra - a known Draconian. The exact life expectancy is unknown, though odds are they're considered "old" after at least ten thousand years.

Not too much is known about Draconian culture as a whole, though much of the kind is shown as fairly rough and has an enjoyment for violence. It is shown later that they don't have a good tolerance for magical happenings, evident in Prey for the Beasts, when most Draconian hid themselves away when the snow came down far earlier than it should.
