Goldstone is a Griffon that appears in S07Ep28: Tale-Wind to compete in the Inter-Species Race. He is the third-year champion of said race as well.
Appearance
Goldstone is a standard Griffon in built, if not a bit thin, with the front end of a falcon and the back end of a cheetah.
History
As the Inter-Species race was getting underway, he appears with the Crystal Gems to see who else was apart of the race and asking if they were there to try their luck. He goes on to brag about how he won the last three years before them, and remarks how they'll actually give him some competition this year as they are Gems. As he went on, he ends up coming across Sapphire slipping over ice she was creating and remarks to not cover the entire race course with ice before leaving her alone.
before the race could start, he remarks how Sapphire could even enter the race as she couldn't even fly. When the race starts, Goldstone kept first place throughout much of the race. When he took note of Copper cheating, he flew in front of him and left Copper slightly blinded by tossing up pollen in his face, taking him out of the race. He kept first place throughout, and in the end beat Sapphire by inches. However, he gave the prize to Sapphire as she gave him the most exciting race he had in years, and just knowing he won four times is good enough for him.
