Harvested Gems are a type of Gem that has resulted in a form of punishment known as "Harvesting" by Gemkind. It is unclear of the exact level of criminal action a Gem has to take to end up as harvested, but Budgerite describes the process as a method for Gems to become foundation for Homeworld. Many of these Harvested Gems first appear in Season 8.

Most, if not all, Harvested Gems look like objects, as even normal Gems mistake them for typical Gem objects. The main way to tell is the level of sentience a Harvested Gem has compared to normal objects. Many of them don't speak out loud, not being treated as normal Gems as hinted at by Sessile.

The Harvested[]

Symbiotic Relations[]

Harvested Wall Gems

The first examples of Harvested Gems to be shown in the My Little Universe franchise is a set from Gems presumably from Yellow Diamond's colony.

The Harvested Gems seem to resemble walls, and form the same function. They seem to have hands and arms, along with faces with their gemstones on top of their heads.

These were first found within the Diamond Palace by Stubby, who in turn shown them to Grogar. He at first thought they were just walls until one of them spoke, triggering him to force them off and take them away.

Emerald's Quest[]

Numerous amounts of Harvested Gems were found by Emerald when he was tasked to go to White Tail Woods to handle the local Timberwolves, only to find a "scrapyard" full of them. One of these included Sessile - a harvested Gem made into a sessile.

Diamond Days[]

Silent blue statue

Grogar, Stubby, Bray and Budgerite found her within Blue Diamond's bath, and at the point was considered the last Harvested Gem to take. The one in question resembles a greek goddess vaguely.

This Harvested Gem is incapable of talking or movement, the only evidence of it being sentient at all is that her eyes are able to blink.

Be Still My Stone[]

Some Harvested Gems were mentioned by Grogar during his confrontation with the Harmony Gems. One of which included, presumably, a "living comb".

The wall Harvested Gems re-appear briefly during this chapter while the Harmony Gems attempt to flee, several of them blocking their way before one got poofed by Blue Pearl.
