Ion is an old Kirin living in the Kirin Empire of Neippon.
History[]
When he overheard Twilight Sparkle and company talk illy about Junsui, he inquires about this, claiming that it was good that they had doubts against the current ruler. On hearing this, he got them just outside of the village, where he guides them towards Umakumo's lair. He then reveals that he connected the Umakumo appearance to Junsui's ruling, much to the anger of Firudo, whom Ion simply told to leave if he couldn't handle it. With his help, Twilight and friends expose Junsui for who she was, and Ion returned to Umakumo's lair later on that night, using his magic to revert Lord Akira back to normal.
