Junsui is a Kirin from Neippon, and ruler of the kingdom until the involvment of the Crystal Gems and Mane Six. She is also the cause of the Umakumo, and antagonist of the Season 3 opener.
Physical Appearance
Junsui is average size for a Kirin her age. Her body is mostly fur and her scales went along her back and around her chest. She has a small set of deer antlers, and cloven hooves. Her mane flows down her head, describing as if she just got out of the water, and her tail resembles a fin. Much of her design mirrors a koi fish.
After being removed of her position, her right antler had been smashed off thanks to Shinrin.
Personality
Throughout her debut, Junsui is presented as arrogant, and believes that as the princess of the Kirins she can do whatever she pleases, and go wherever she wishes without anyone telling her otherwise. She places herself higher above other Kirins, and while she has shown concern for the others in regards to Umakumo, this is mainly a cover-up on her part to keep the throne for herself. When found out, she is shown to be cowardly, and attempts to hide from sight in vain once they found her transformation spell.
History
Prior to the series, Junsui managed to place a transformation spell onto Lord Akira, turning him into the Umakumo. After this had happened, she took the throne for herself.
Season 3
The Mane Six and Crystal Gems were brought to her to get some information about the Umakumo. At first she only spoke neipponese, but used a spell on herself in order to speak the common language so they could understand her. She didn't take too much of their mission into mind, and explained to them that she didn't want anypony else going after it as she tried many times before to do so, but none of her soldiers came back. She still offered them a place of stay within her village though once their meeting was over.
When they returned later on, they demanded her to leave, which she immediately denied saying that she was the princess and can go wherever she wanted. She tried to deny her transformation spell once Spike brought it to their attention, and when she was found out she attempted to flee, only to get pinned down by Junsui and getting her antler smashed in the process. She was demanded to fix Lord Akira, but instead she ran away, no longer the ruler of Neippon. Ion hoped that her time alone would help her learn.
