King Vorak is the current late king of Midnight Palace in the Nether Lands, and the father to Scorpan and Tirek. He and Queen Haydon ruled the combined kingdom of Centaurs and Gargoyles.
Appearance
King Vorak is a late aged Centaur, resembling his son Tirek in multiple aspects. His outfit consisted of a cloak mirroring Sombra's cloak, a full-bodied grey suit, and armory consisting of a gold sapphire chest plate, and golden hoof coverings and wrist coverings. His red-skinned face, black eyes with yellow irises, with black sideburns mirror that of Tirek, with a grey beard mane and tail showing his age.
Personality
In contrast to Haydon's gentler nature, Vorak is very stern and cold towards outsiders, and is shown to hold a grudge towards Equestria due to Tirek's involvement and current situation in Tartarus. He holds little compassion towards his foes, but still shown to have care for Tirek, even after hearing of his crimes in Equestria. Luna described him as not being the "understanding" type.
History
Much of Vorak's history is unexplored much prior to becoming king of the Centaur kingdom, though he did mention that he did try "playing fare" with Equestria. While Tirek was growing up, he and Haydon sensed an urge of power in him, but refused to believe it. After hearing from Scorpan of Tirek's imprisonment, he and Haydon tried getting their son back as he is the last line to continue ruling the kingdom, only to be refused by Celestia and Luna. Angered by this, he forced them away and refused to speak with them.
My Little Universe: Supernova
When Ponyville is brought to the borders of his kingdom, he is confronted by Celestia, Luna, Cadance, and Twilight Sparkle, being asked if they could live there for a while. Angry still for Tirek's imprisonment, he refused them right away, refusing to believe Equestria had fallen by mutated Parasprites, and refusing to allow the alicorns a home there when they refuse to return Tirek prior. After hearing from Starlight Glimmer that they'll die otherwise, only then did he decide to let them stay in the northernmost borders only for that one time, but only under the circumstance that they're to leave soon as magic would return, and not a moment later.
