Terra (Rainforest Topaz Facet477-CutXJ9) is a Gem from Homeworld, and main character of focus in Lapis Lazuli's story in "Wild Timber".
Appearance[]
Terra is a large, thick-bodied Gem. She is green-skinned similar to Jade, with a square hairstyle much like a standard Ruby. She was named Terra, in part, because her appearance reminded some of the forests on the colony she was created on.
She wears standard Homeworld attire: a large V-shaped chest opening for her Gemstone to visibly appear.
Personality[]
Although not made to be in charge, she enjoys keeping the younger Gems in order and have projects go smoothly. She dislikes seeing reckless and cocky behavior from other Gems, especially those who think they know better than she does. She still has a kind disposition though, and is somewhat open-minded, shown as she was hardly saddened when everyone else left her behind on the abandoned colony.
History[]
According to the story, Terra worked on a moon Colony with numerous other Gems, including Magma and Comet, and despite not being an Agate kept the younger Gems in proper order, her main response to any bad behavior being that it wouldn't suit her clarity. During some of her work, she developed a nickname "Fossil" due to her old age, namely from Magma and Comet, but she put them in their place after she warned them about Silver Rutile, and how they would end up like her if they didn't behave themselves.
When the colony she was working on became inefficient, she was left behind as other commanders and Agates thought she was too old to be useful. When everyone left, she settled down in one of the buildings, and decided to rest to pass the time. She remained within there for thousands of years following, until a rescue team found her and brought her to her new Colony, reuniting her with Comet and Magma again.
