This is the chronological timeline of events that occur in the My Little Universe Franchise. It is confirmed by the writer that all events prior to An Indirect Kiss of Steven Universe, and Princess Twilight Sparkle - Part 2 of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic happened as they would in their respected canon shows, only being slightly altered to correspond in the MLU story.

Eons ago

Era 1

  • White Diamond is created, her being the first known Gem in existence, and acting as the leader of all Gems under the name "North Star".
    • White emphasizes the importance of perfection, creates Homeworld's Caste System, bans cross-Gem Fusions and instills punishments for those who are not deemed "flawless".
    • In order to expand her "perfect" empire White leads The Great Diamond Authority in colonizing planets to create more Gems.
  • Blue Diamond is created, and fills in the role of diplomacy on Homeworld.
  • Under command of both Diamonds, Gem society and population start expanding, and they begin foundations for the main Gem Homeworld.
    • Originally, the planet Orthix was planned to be Homeworld. After a few hundred years, a fog-like substance started to appear, causing all Gems working there to become paranoid and unable to continue progress. Gemkind was forced to abandon the planet.
  • Homeworld became fully established and under the Diamonds, the Gem race expands and cements its control over numerous planetary bodies through colonization.
    • The White Diamond Space Station is complete in construction.
    • One Gem colony located on a small moon started to become established, but due to it being too efficient, it became closed. A Topaz, "Terra", was left behind on the planet as other Gems left. Blue Diamond had a rescue team find her and take her to a new colony.
    • Aredox is established and becomes a colony run by Agates, as there were too many colonies for just the Diamonds to keep track of upon creation.
  • Yellow Diamond is created, and takes control of the Homeworld's military.
  • Melanite's Pearl distribution begins.
  • Fluorite, Rhodonite, Padparadscha, and the Rutile Twins are considered defective by Homeworld's standards and remain in hiding in the Supreme Kindergarten underground to avoid other Gems and Robonoids.
  • At some point during the colonization of the Jungle Moon's planet Pink Diamond demands her own colony from Yellow Diamond but is rebuffed due to her inexperience.
  • Pink Diamond sneaks Pink Pearl out and the two often goof off in secrecy. Upon being discovered, White Diamond takes her and brain-washes her to becoming "White Pearl".
  • Discord is born.
  • On Equus, Earth ponies, unicorns, and Pegasi live together under extremely hostile conditions.
    • Princess Platinum rules the unicorn tribe, with Clover the Clever (Star Swirl the Bearded's apprentice) as her advisor.
    • Chancellor Puddinghead leads the Earth ponies, with Smart Cookie as his secretary.
    • Commander Hurricane leads the Pegasi, Private Pansy as his second-in-command.
  • A mysterious blizzard appears and "topples the tribes' precarious peace." The tribe leaders set out to find a new land. When they all discover the same land at the same time, their feud starts over, attracting the windigos and causing another blizzard. As the tribe leaders freeze, their cohorts become friends, and the Fire of Friendship is created. The tribe leaders thaw out of the ice, make peace, and agree to share the land as one unified race. Equestria is founded.
  • At some point, Spinel is created as a new playmate for Pink Diamond.

Over 6,000 years ago

  • Ruby, Sapphire, Lapis Lazuli and Bismuth are created on Homeworld or one of its colonies.
  • Pink Diamond is allowed to have her own Pearl, and chose Pearl for being unique out of the rest of Melanite's set.
  • Celestia and Luna are born around 10,000 years ago.
  • Pink Diamond is allowed to colonize Earth after being informed by Orchid - her assigned advisor for the colony. She and her Gems arrive there to begin a new colony, beginning production on the Prime Kindergarten as the first phase of colonization.
    • Having "outgrown" Spinel, Pink Diamond leaves her behind at Pink Diamond's Garden to focus on running her colony.
  • Pink Diamond starts becoming fascinated with the beauty and surprises of Earth. Pearls finds her off exploring Earth and is also shown the beauty of Earth through a Butterfly. Pearl is given the chance to change her current form into whatever she wanted. She soon realizes completing her colony would destroy all she grew fond of.
  • Other Gems are created in the Prime Kindergarten.
  • Structures such as the Lunar Sea Spire, Communication Hub, and Time Temple are constructed.
  • Bismuth and her group stumble upon Equus, and under orders of Yellow Diamond, start building on it (notably the Blue Diamond Ruins) and exploring areas such as Yakyakistan, Griffonstone, and Neippon, before the Diamonds decide to give up on it, labeling Equus as "too inefficient".
  • Pink Diamond and Pearl continue to travel off and become fascinated by the beauty of Earth. Pink soon starts becoming concerned when she finds her favorite tree dying by her Kindergarten.
  • Pink contacts the other Diamonds and learns that completing her colony would destroy all she grew fond of. to tell them that she wants to salvage the life on Earth, making them believe it's to study the lifeforms there for use of Gemkind rather than to preserve the beauty of Earth.
    • White creates a Human Zoo for Pink and she kidnap humans from their families to store them inside.
    • Unknown by the other Diamonds, White also kidnaps ponies from Equus to store them inside the zoo.
  • While out exploring Earth, Pink Diamond and Pearl fuse into Rainbow Quartz, becoming the first ever multi-Gem fusion to exist. To keep from getting in trouble with the Diamond Authority, they agree to keep it a secret.
  • Blue Diamond leaves the Abandoned Gem Settlement 7,000 years ago, due to Gems constantly being driven out of the quarry associated with it.
  • At some point, Kyra is brought to Homeworld, and discovers the existence of the Osicone. He tries to warn the Diamond Authority, but they dismiss him completely.
  • Kyra challenges the diamond Authority to a duel to try and force White, Blue, and Pink to change their tyranny, and alter their ways. This fight gets Kyra his scar on his leg, and also results in Pink, White, and Blue's defeat.
  • Pink Diamond reforms, and realizes that all the Humans are actual beings instead of just animals for her to control. She contacts the other Diamonds and tries to convince them to stop the colony. White informs her that it will be finished "with or without her".

6,000 - 5,000 years ago

  • After failing to convince the Diamonds to stop, Pink Diamond, Pearl and Orchid ultimately decide to fake Pink Diamond's shattering so they can be free of the Diamond Authority and save the planet. Orchid is released, and White Diamond arrives with intent to shatter Pink herself for her defiance and her status as an Off-Color. Pink Diamond, who had swallowed fake gem shards, thereby created the illusion that White Diamond shattered her.
    • From then on Pink Diamond permanently identifies herself as Rose Quartz and Pink Diamond (as Rose Quartz) and Pearl defect from Homeworld and form the Crystal Gems.
    • Eyeball Ruby and Lapis Lazuli witness Pink Diamond's "shattering", and White Diamond alters their memories to think Rose Quartz was responsible. Lapis informs this to Blue Diamond, but tells her that Pink was "missing" instead of shattered.
    • White Diamond gathers the shards with intent to re-create Pink Diamond "how she wants her to be".

The Gem War officially begins

  • A Gem captain makes a video report, saying that Gems can no longer be made on Earth and that Homeworld doesn't know what to do with it at this point.
  • Earth is deemed nonviable as a colony by Homeworld, commencing experiments to create Cluster Gems using the gemstone shards of fallen Crystal Gems.
    • The Cluster is embedded in the Earth's core at some point as part of these experiments.
  • Blue Diamond and members of her court arrive on Earth to oversee and investigate the Earth colony for the uprisings.
  • Sapphire is sent to Earth along with three Ruby guards at the request of Blue Diamond.
    • Rose and Pearl lead a direct attack on Blue Diamond's court.
    • Ruby and Sapphire accidentally fuse into Garnet for the first time. This inadvertently inspires White Diamond to start her Hybrid Gem projects.
      • Pearlis and Flint are made during this project.
      • Spinel is found by White Diamond in Pink Diamond's Garden, and is taken in for experimentation with the illusion White wanted to play a game with her.
  • Sapphire flees with Ruby to Earth's surface and joins the Crystal Gems shortly afterwards.
  • Bismuth is convinced to join the Rebellion, and becomes the Crystal Gem's main blacksmith upon her own decision.
    • The Forge is constructed.
    • Bismuth creates all the weapons for the rebellion, including Rose's Sword.
    • She convinces Fulgurite to rebel.
  • Fulgurite ends up captured and is locked away within The Geode for rebelling against Homeworld.
  • Homeworld makes more Kindergartens on Earth to create more soldiers to fight the Crystal Gems, as the Beta Kindergarten was described as a "rush job".
    • Jasper is made as the "perfect Quartz".
  • Upon hearing Jade going to be replaced, Flint decides to leave Homeworld with her and Diopside to save Jade from being shattered.
    • Diopside is punished in the form of direct Corruption.
  • During one of the fights, Lapis returns to Earth just to get poofed by Bismuth, and ends up trapped within Her Mirror.
  • Bismuth presents Rose with the Breaking Point, a weapon designed to shatter Gems, specifically the Diamonds. Disagreeing, Rose poofs and bubbles Bismuth, keeping her fate hidden from the other Crystal Gems.
  • Homeworld Gems are commanded to evacuate Earth.
    • Lapis Lazuli's mirror is abandoned at the Galaxy Warp and her gemstone is trampled over and cracked during the evacuation. Many Homeworld Gems such as Emerald get left behind.
  • The Corrupting Light is initiated by the three remaining Diamonds, corrupting all Gems caught in it. The only known Gems on Earth who were unaffected are Pink Diamond/Rose Quartz, Pearl, Garnet (protected by Rose's Shield), Amethyst (not emerged yet), Bismuth (bubbled), Lapis Lazuli (still trapped in the mirror), and Emerald (unknown reasons).
  • Hessonite becomes known as a war hero amongst Homeworld Gems, known and praised for her feats as a Gem admiral and known for feats such as defeating an entire Gem fleet single-handedly without getting touched.

5,000 - 1,000

Era 2

  • The Galaxy Warp becomes inactive.
  • Amethyst emerges after the Rebellion, 500 years later than any other gem in the Prime Kindergarten, and is eventually discovered by the remaining Crystal Gems.
  • Peridot and her cut are first created as Era 2 Peridots.
    • The Peridot Colony was signed to be harvested, but they fled and found home on Farid. Peridot herself avoids this fate by coming out early.
  • The Crystal Gems begin to collect and hunt Corrupted Gems on Earth.
  • Approximately 4,750 years ago, the Jungle Moon went through a mass extinction event, which Sapphires predicted would wipe out life on the moon in the next hundreds of years. Life continues living afterwards however.
  • Peridot becomes a space traveler for homeworld, and has found about 300 planets; 57 lava planets, 45 ice giants, 43 Ocean planets, 10 Iron planets, 67 terrestrial planets, 39 dwarf planets, and 31 habitable planets - Earth and the Jungle Moon included.
  • Lucid begins to effect ponies and other creatures, and making them fall into a hibernation state. Celestia and Luna found him in the Frozen north, and banished him to the Realm of Limbo.
  • Blue Zircon starts serving the Diamonds and Homeworld 4,000 years ago.
  • An unknown assailant threatens Blue Diamond, and she makes a video message just prior to her leave, saying the situation has become critical.

1st Everstorm passing

  • The first Everstorm passes through Equus, birthing both the Ursa Major, and a shadowy creature known as the Umbra.
  • Sombra becomes the new, tyrannical ruler of the Crystal Empire, enslaving the Crystal Ponies.
  • Leviathan first appears and takes over the sea, driving out most Seaponies and Sirens into land. She attempts to take over the land, but is stopped and locked away by Starswirl the Bearded.
    • During Leviathan's rampage, she and the Ziz attack Mount Aris. According to Seapony legend, a group of angels arrive to defend them against the two invaders. The Ziz bird is defeated, and the Leviathan leaves.
  • A group of Sirens known as The Dazzlings invade Equestria, causing disharmony between ponies with their singing. Stygian brings Rockhoof, Mistmane, Flash Magnus, Somnambula, Mage Meadowbrook, and Starswirl the Bearded together to stop them, and Starswirl banishes the Sirens to Earth, turning them into Humans so they will cause no harm there with their magic.
  • Revealed by King Vorak, Tirek and Scorpan one day left the Midnight Palace and arrive into Equestria. Tirek attempted to take over Equestria, stealing what magic he could, but was sent to Tartarus by Celestia and Luna. Vorak and Haydon tried getting him back, but were refused. The kingdom's terms becomes precarious after this.
    • Scorpan dies sometime after this.
  • Grogar is sent out of Peshtihorn to get the Alicorns' help, but they refuse to help him. He spends the next years becoming stronger until he fights them a second time to get revenge. He is locked up in Tartarus thanks to the combined efforts of Celestia, Luna, and Starswirl the Bearded.
  • Stygian turns into the Pony of Shadows, and the Pillars of Old Equestria imprison him and themselves in limbo. Before trapping themselves, the Pillars plant a seed infused with their magic that will later grow into the Tree of Harmony over a thousand years ago.
  • Onyx and Tiger's Eye were made 1,100 years ago; Onyx being recruited by White Diamond as apart of her Diamond court, and Tiger's Eye being deemed an Off-Color.
  • Tiger's Eye finds and later joins the Off-Colors within the Supreme Kindergarten.
  • Discord tries taking control of Equestria, sending it all into a state of chaos. Celestia and Luna gather the Elements of Harmony, and use their power to turn him into stone. The Castle of the Two Sisters is built after this.
    • Just before Discord's defeat, the Plunder Vines are planted into the ground to try and destroy the Tree of Harmony, but were kept underground due to its own magic keeping it down.
  • Celestia and Luna confront Sombra, and banish him into the Icy north. Sombra's curse left on the Crystal Empire upon his defeat made the empire disappear completely.
  • Beach City is established.
  • Amethyst is found by the Crystal Gems and she joins.
    • Seventy years after recruitment, Amethyst discovers their involvement in war, and is told of the Gem War for the first time thanks to Lapis Lazuli and Rose Quartz.

1,000 - present

  • About 1,000 years ago, Luna transformed into Nightmare Moon, destroying the Castle of the Two Sisters in her rampage, and forcing Celestia to banish her to the moon.
  • The previous Convocation of Creatures took place 753 years ago.
  • During modern times, The Dazzlings become a popular singing group due to their singing talent and music.
  • Greg Universe spends some of his youth as a roadie under management of Marty. After arriving in Beach City, Rose Quartz meets Greg Universe.
  • Rose Quartz gives up her physical form to give birth to Steven Universe.
  • At some point, an unknown assailant disguised himself as a mascot for the Brittle Bear Bakery, and kills a few unnamed children. They possess the animatronics, causing them to malfunction. The Brittle Bear Bakery closes for good days later.
  • Years ago, the Kirin of the Peaks of Peril turned into Niriks, and destroyed their village. Not wanting to get angry anymore, Rain Shine instructs everyone into the Stream of Silence, making them all silent and emotionless.
    • Autumn Blaze discovers the cure and regains her voice, but is banished from the village because of said voice.
  • Rainbow performs the Sonic Rainboom during a Cloudsdale race, causing her cutie mark to appear and setting in motion a chain of events related to her future friends' cutie marks.
    • At the start of the race, young Fluttershy falls toward the ground and is saved by a swarm of butterflies. She quickly becomes enamored with the world on the ground. Rainbow's sonic rainboom frightens Fluttershy's new animal friends. When she calms them, her cutie mark appears.
    • Unable to fit in among the social Manehattan elite, Applejack becomes homesick. She sees Rainbow's sonic rainboom pointing toward Ponyville. She races home to reunite with her family, and she gains her cutie mark.
    • During Twilight's entrance exam to the School for Gifted Unicorns, Rainbow's rainboom causes Twilight's magic to temporarily overload. Twilight obtains her cutie mark, and Celestia takes Twilight on as a personal student and protégé.
    • Rarity's horn drags her all the way to a giant rock. Rainbow's rainboom causes the rock to split, revealing a deposit of gems. Rarity uses the gems for her school play costumes, and her cutie mark appears.
    • Young Pinkie Pie is dissatisfied with her life as a rock farmer. Upon seeing Rainbow's rainboom, she is overwhelmed with happiness and throws her first party, gaining her cutie mark.
    • Starlight Glimmer travels back in time to this event in attempts to change the past.
  • Nightmare Moon returns for the first time in a thousand years since her banishment to the moon, and attempts to turn Equestria into eternal night. The Mane Six defeat her, turning her back into Luna.
  • Discord is freed from his stone prison, and tries taking over again. He is defeated by the Mane Six, turning back into stone.
  • Chrysalis, leader of the Changelings, infiltrates Canterlot during the royal wedding of Cadance and Shining Armor. Her and her army triy taking control, but were ultimately defeated and banished to the Badlands.
  • Sombra returns (in a weakened shadow form) with the Crystal Empire after a thousand years, and is defeated again by Twilight and her friends.
  • Lord Akira is transformed into the Umakumo by Junsui. Junsui takes the throne of Neippon.
  • Princess Celestia has Discord released from his stone prison on the terms of being reformed, a feat which Fluttershy accomplishes.
  • Flint and Jade arrive in Equus, outside of the Crystal Empire one year prior.
  • Diopside is captured and poofed by the Crystal Gems, stored within the Crystal Temple.
  • Steven Universe starts going on his first missions.
  • Steven and Connie formally meet for the first time.
  • Diopside is released and forms a friendship with Steven before being poofed again.
  • Twilight, born a Unicorn, becomes a Alicorn. She is crowned the princess of friendship by Celestia.
  • Rupee is sent to Homeworld by White Diamond as a new Gem type the Diamond Authority's testing.

Year One

Season 1

  • The Plunder Vines emerge and reek havoc on Ponyville. During this, Discord sends some to Rose Fountain by impulse, and causes overgrowth in the garden. The Mane Six are transported by the Plunder Vines to Earth. Equus and Earth connect for the first time.
  • After a day, Discord aids the Mane Six in returning home. He leaves Steven a Portal Key so he can come and visit again.

Summer

  • Lapis Lazuli is freed from her mirror thanks to Steven Universe's involvement. She and Steven travel to Equus thanks to Steven's Portal key. On landing in the Castle of the Two Sisters, Steven befriends Lapis and heals her of the damage done to her gem.
  • Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl are given their Portal Keys by Discord.
  • Fulgurite escapes her Geode prison after being discovered by Garnet. Both she and Lapis become Crystal Gems at the same time.
  • Equestrian flora first starts growing on Earth in the form of Poison Joke.
  • Peridot arrives at the Galaxy Warp on a maintenance check and to check the process on The Cluster. Rainbow Dash goes with her to monitor her throughout her maintenance check.
  • Peridot and Rainbow visit the Sky Spire, Mask Island, the Communication Hub, and the Prime Kindergarten.
    • Star Quartz is planted into the Prime Kindergarten as apart of Peridot's maintenance check.
    • Connie runs away from home, and finds the Mirror Pool. Connie II is created from this visit.
    • Steven and Lapis visit the Prime Kindergarten.
  • Sombra returns for the second time, and learns of the Gem race from the Plunder Vines and goes to Earth to take over Earth and Homeworld as opposed to the Crystal Empire.
    • Steven becomes corrupted.
    • Peridot becomes trapped on Earth during a secondary maintenance check.
  • Tirek escapes Tartarus to take over Equestria again, Jasper comes to Earth on Peridot's destress signal, and Nightmare Moon returns thanks to Sombra's dark magic.
    • Jasper is struck down to Earth, the Gem Warship is destroyed, and Jasper is captured by Sombra.
    • Nightmare Moon is defeated when Tirek takes her magic, along with Celestia.
    • Sombra was defeated in a fight with Peridot resulting in his horn being destroyed.
    • Tirek is defeated. He and Sombra are banished to Tartarus.
  • Twilight Sparkle restores her horn after the ordeal, and Steven is healed by Nephrite.

Season 2

Autumn

  • Beach City is repaired.
  • Jasper and Peridot stay with the Crystal Gems, having nowhere else to go and no way to return home.
  • Star Quartz emerges from the Prime Kindergarten, destroying the Gem Injector used to create her in the process.
  • At a point, Star Quartz meets the Plunder Vines.
  • Diopside is released from the Crystal Temple, and healed of Corruption by Nephrite.

My Little Universe: Mindwarp

  • Lucid puts Steven into a hibernation state, trapping him in the Dreamscape to help him out with his mother.
  • The Crystal Gems travel into the Dreamscape to rescue him.
    • A fight between the Crystal Gems and "Amethyst" break out, revealed to be Amethyst's depiction of herself. She's defeated and Pearl makes up with Amethyst.
    • Lapis Lazuli briefly becomes trapped in her own nightmare of mirrors. She overcomes her fear on being reminded of her friendship with Steven.
    • Pearl is exposed to her nightmare of being "just a Pearl", and is aided by Lucid himself to remind her of her individuality.
  • Garnet gets a vision of Earth and Homeworld in peace. Starts mission to go to Homeworld, and team begins building the Galactic Ray.
  • Star Quartz ultimately finds her "mother" Peridot, and is allowed to stay with them by Garnet, being put under Peridot's care.
  • After gathering weapons from the Strawberry Battlefield, Kyra finds them and is later recruited into the Crystal Gems.
  • Peridot and Connie are put under training: Connie in swordsmanship, and Peridot in martial arts.
  • Tank goes into hibernation for what is stated to be the first winter since Rainbow Dash adopted him.

Winter

  • The Galactic Ray is completed, the Crystal Gems and Mane Six leave Earth.
  • They arrive to Homeworld and are welcome within the Blue Diamond City by Blue Diamond herself.
    • Kyra convinces Discord to take him to Homeworld, and Emerald goes with him.
  • Sapphire splits from Ruby and she, Lapis, and Rarity investigate the Abandoned Gem Settlement.
  • Jasper and Rupee start a duel. Kyra arrives during the duel and presumably shatters Rupee, and attacks Yellow Diamond during his assault, before the Crystal Gems drive him away.
  • The Osicone emerges. shatters numerous Gems and poofs Yellow Diamond before being stopped by the Crystal Gems. The Crystal Gems are seen as heroes of Homeworld. Jasper and Peridot join the Crystal Gems, and Homeworld and Earth are on better terms.

Season 3

Spring

  • The Mane Six and Crystal Gems arrive in the Kirin Empire. They manage to dethrone Junsui after discovering the truth behind the Umakumo. Lord Akira is turned back to normal and regains his throne soon after they left.
  • Discord, Celestia, and Blue Diamond begin building Warp Pads to connect their worlds together, as a means of thanks for what the Crystal Gems and Mane Six did for Homeworld.
  • Velvet Sugar becomes the sous-chef of Sugarcube Corner, and apprentice to Pinkie Pie in baking.
  • Blue Diamond attends her first Grand Galloping Gala, becoming the first Diamond to formally visit Equestria.
  • Time Jumper is confronted by the Crystal Gems. All of them become poofed or transported away except for Amethyst. Amethyst briefly gets a Time Hourglass, creating numerous timelines which all end the same way. She gives it back to Time Jumper and gets poofed herself.
  • The Warp Pads connecting Earth, Equus, and Homeworld are completed.

Year Two

Season 4

Summer

Autumn

  • The Crystal Gems and Mane Six follow an Earth and Equestrian Coelacanth to the Blue Diamond Ruins, discovering the first Warp Pads on Equus.
  • Jasper earns her Cutie Mark during her trip to Las Pegasus, becoming the first Gem to have a Cutie Mark.
  • During a storm brought on by a Thunderbird, Peridot discovers her Metal powers. She earns her Cutie Mark.
  • Connie II is held captive by Starlight Glimmer, sending the message to the Mane Six for help.
    • Starlight Glimmer uses her magic to remove Twilight and her friends' cutie marks.
    • With the help of the villagers, Twilight and her friends defeat Starlight Glimmer, who escapes, and get their cutie marks back.
  • Steven accidentally releases Bismuth from her bubble inside Lion's mane. Bismuth reconnects with the surviving Crystal Gems, befriends the new Crystal Gems and Mane Six, and provides upgrades for their weapons.

Winter

Season 5

Spring - Summer

  • Yellow Diamond warns the Crystal Gems about the Cluster. Progress on the Gem Drill begins. Amethyst and Steven were sent off on hunting missions to avoid finding out about the Cluster.
  • Acid and Cyanide start manipulating the residence of Beach City.
  • Steven and Amethyst meet Onion's Gang on their hunt for the Gem Scorpion.
  • Acid and Cyanide start a feud between the Frymans and the Pizzas, triggering the Restaurant Wars to start.
  • Acid manipulates Sadie Miller into a life of crime.
  • The Mane Six and Connie join Steven and Amethyst. They all hunt for the Gem Tortoise and Tongue Monster.
  • Pearl got her Gemstone severely cracked as punishment for nearly destroying the drill under the influence of the Gem Mask.
  • Blue Diamond secretly arrives to Earth. Amethyst, Steven, Connie, and the Mane Six discover about the Cluster after talking to her.
  • Steven discovers his ability to enter the consciousness of other individuals and learns where Malachite is.
  • The Mane Six, Amethyst, Connie, and Steven find Malachite and form Earthstone to defeat her, rescuing Jasper and Lapis. Meanwhile, The Gem Drill is completed, and Pearl and Peridot go after the Cluster, successfully containing it inside a bubble.

Year Three

  • After she recovers from Malachite, Lapis Lazuli isolates herself in the barn.
  • Grootslang steals Jasper.
  • Applejack and Rainbow Dash help resolve the Restaurant Wars.
  • Grootslang steals Blue Diamond and makes it look like a shattering. This causes The Trial to happen. This banishes the Crystal Gems from Homeworld completely on White Diamond's sentence.
  • Grootslang first appears in Beach City, stealing from Miroslaw's Jewelers.
  • A fake emergency broadcast goes out to Beach City, Bayburgh, and Empire City for an upcoming hurricane.
  • Acid and Cyanide trigger the Beach City Flooding by destroying the Beach City Water Tower. This destroys over half of Beach City, mostly the residential area.
  • During a visit to Griffonstone, Connie and Amethyst start a fight. They are attacked by Acid and Cyanide, leaving them both paralyzed.
  • Connie, Amethyst, and Steven were kidnapped by Grootslang for ransom of the remaining Yellow and White Diamond.
  • The Crystal Gems and Mane Six track down Grootslang to his lair. They find him, and during the fight, Ammie is formed for the first time. Grootslang is soon defeated afterwards.
  • Lapis Lazuli returns in a new form.

Season 6

Late Winter

  • Beach City is repaired, only two houses left by the time Season 6 begins.
  • Blue Diamond invites the Crystal Gems back to Homeworld. Garnet, Connie, Steven, Amethyst, Diopside and the Mane Six arrive for the informal get-together.
  • Still considered banished thanks to White Diamond's trial, The Mane Six and Crystal Gems manage to escape White Diamond's troops and meet a group of rogue "off-color" Gems (Padparadscha, the Rutile Twins, Rhodonite, Tiger's Eye, and Fluorite). They all escape the Supreme Kindergarten and back to Earth.
  • Blue Pearl and Yellow Pearl stay with the Crystal Gems for a while, as requested by their diamonds.

Spring

  • The Off-Colors first visit Equestria during Winter Wrap-Up.
  • Andy DeMayo reconnects with his estranged cousin Greg over a family dinner with Steven and the Gems.
  • Solitaire attacks Canterlot over his hatred for Unicorns and what they've done to him. He is regained his sight thanks to Celestia and Luna.

Year Four

Summer

  • Harmony Day is created.
  • The Tantabus escapes from Luna's control, giving other ponies nightmares, and almost escapes to the real world.
  • Connie II's new home within White Tail Woods is built.
  • Lapis and Pearl meet up on Brooding Hill. Spinel (the fusion) forms for the first time.
  • Jade goes to Homeworld for the first time since leaving with Flint (It is confirmed by the writer that it's been three years since she joined the crystal gems).
  • An Alien sent by White Diamond arrives, Steven willingly turning himself in. Diamond's Dog breaking Connie's arm.
  • Connie discovers she's now Half-Gem due to her fusions as Stevonnie and Ammie.
  • Connie gets mad at Steven for not working together and Steven giving himself up to White Diamond and leaves with Lion.
  • White Diamond captures the Crystal Gems, Off-Colors, the Mane Six, Melanite, Aquamarine, Topaz, the Ruby Squad, and Starlight Glimmer.
  • The Rutile Twins and Spike were captured. Lars tries getting into the Gem Temple to help them, he and Onion's Gang finding the Blue Diamond's Gem Object. Everyone's memories are returned upon its activation.
  • Connie, Lars, Sadie, Jamie, Connie II, Lion, and Onion's Gang leave Earth and go to Homeworld in order to rescue the Crystal Gems and Mane Six.
    • All of the Crystal Gems, Mane Six, Off-Colors, and Diamond Authority learn the true fate of Pink Diamond's shattering from White Diamond herself. They all are put under arrest, including Yellow and Blue to be formed into White's successor Green Diamond. With Topaz's aid, they all break out and successfully escape.
    • During rescue, the White Diamond Space Station loses power, releasing all the Earth Corrupted Gems currently captured onto the ship. Pearl and Aquamarine are left behind.

Season 7

  • The Crystal Gems, Mane Six, Off-Colors, and numerous others become stranded on the Jungle Moon. They make refuge in the Jungle Moon Base and learn of White Diamond's current state.
  • Blue Diamond arrives and rescues them.

Autumn

  • The teams split up: Flint, Jade, Star Quartz, Bismuth, Diopside, Topaz, and Onyx returned to the White Diamond Space Station. The rest went back to Earth.
  • Mayor Dewey resigns from his post, allowing Nanefua Pizza to take his place. With Steven's help, he gets a job at the Big Donut.
  • Starlight, Peridot, Jasper and Fluttershy travel to the Hayseed Swamp and find a cure for Zecora and Steven's Swamp Fever.
  • The Cutie Map calls Rarity to Neippon, and she and her friends help both the Gardener with Mistmane's garden, and Punga free of his curse set on him by Sable Spirit. Rarity gets Mistmane's Flower as a thank-you gift.
  • Torch stepped down as Dragon Lord. After proving herself in the Gauntlet of Fire, Ember becomes new Dragon Lord of the Dragon Lands.
  • Starlight Glimmer and Pink Diamond befriends Trixie.
  • Savvy Sagacious arrives, and informs Celestia she has to be tested for her role as a ruler. She successfully passes the test, albeit barely.
    • During this, the Tindalos first emerge from their "Homeland", and appear in Equus near Ponyville. They are driven out by Celestia to save her subjects from them.
  • The Tindalos are teleported to Earth accidentally by Trixie. The pack discovers Beach City an hour later, and he and his pack attack and invade.
    • Garnet is forcefully split into Ruby and Sapphire by Sniper's Father, partially from the shock of their existence to begin with.
    • Smoky Quartz returns and drives the entire pack away.
  • Starlight meets Sniper while cleaning up Beach City with Trixie.
  • Steven and Garnet adopt a one-eyed stray kitten and name it "Nora".
  • White Diamond creates and uses a specialized Gem Destabilizer on herself, forcefully altering herself in order to "be better".

Winter

  • Pearl reveals the truth behind Pink Diamond to Stevonnie.
  • Garnet, upon hearing this, unfuses and Sapphire becomes mad at Ruby, believing that Rose Quartz lied to them and leaves, upset.
  • The Spirit confronts Twilight, Peridot, Steven and Amethyst personally and warns them of a potential future which involved the Windigo destroying everything because of them.
  • Angry, Ruby reveals Pink Diamond's lie to everyone else, causing the entire team to split up.
  • The Crystal Temple's Crystal Heart loses all its power completely, rendering the Temple useless. As such, Steven moves back in with his dad at the Carwash.
  • Starlight Glimmer reunites with her old friend Sunburst.
  • Peridot, Steven, and Amethyst return to the Prime Kindergarten, discovering the other Amethysts residing there, including Skinny Jasper and Carnelian. They decide to turn it into an actual garden in order to cheer Peridot up. They instead find Rupee again trying to take them all away under White Diamond's orders. Amethyst reveals that she was trying to cheer Steven and Peridot up during and after their fight with Rupee.
  • Fluorite's components: the Peridot Trio, Red Pearl, Lavender Sapphire, and Anatase go out to find them:
    • Jasper goes back to the Beta Kindergarten to release her anger and question her identity alone.
    • Ronaldo Fryman spots Lapis Lazuli fleeing to the Moon Base. Fluorite's components travels to the Moon to search for Lapis. They meet Lapis again and convince her to return to Earth
    • Diopside returns to her Warship with the other corrupted Diopsides of her fleet, talking it out and thinking it over.
    • Flint left the team completely after an argument with Sapphire.
    • Jade and the Mane Six check on Sapphire and were guided back to Greg's van to observe one of Rose Quartz's old tapes (revealing Pink Diamond's identity within it and her true thoughts about them all) before eventually returning home, only to find that Ruby is not there.
  • Flint and Amethyst briefly stay together to investigate the Dakota Zoo over the Mystical Creatures, Amethyst trying to get Flint to return to the team but to no avail. Flint leaves them completely.
  • Applejack and Rarity are summoned by the Cutie Map to Klugetown. In this trip, they befriend Capper and Chummer, helping the two rekindle their friendship. They gain Rockhoof's Shovel from this trip.
  • At some point Fulgurite was captured by Chrysalis, but manages to escape.
  • Thanks to Rainbow Dash, Steven, Applejack, and Amethyst find Ruby and learn that she was with Greg, Fluttershy, and Pinkie all along. Ruby becomes her own person and dresses like a cowboy as they go on an adventure. Eventually however Ruby and Steven are captured by Chrysalis. To avoid any suspicions, Thorax and Pharynx replace them.
  • Sapphire is given Netitus as a reward by Goldstone after the Inter-Species Race.
  • Spike befriends Thorax, and he decides to go against his hive in favor of Sapphire and Spike's friendship. During this, Sniper's Father tries killing them out of revenge for the Changelings attacking his son.
  • Pharynx is exposed during his trip with the other Gems and Ponies to Empire City.
  • While inside the Changeling Hive, Steven and Ruby fuse for the first time, and their fusion manages to escape the Hive.
  • A Warp Pad inside Chrysalis's palace is complete, giving them access to Earth. They soon leave and begin gathering weapons to fight against Canterlot with.
  • The Pillars of Equestria return, alongside the Pony of Shadows.
  • The Crystal Temple's power is restored thanks to Steven and Ruby's Fusion healing the Crystal Heart.
  • The Pony of Shadows, not sensing as much darkness in Equestria, retreats to the Prime Kindergarten. A Windigo-esque winter storm occurs around the Prime Kindergarten thanks to this.
  • Chrysalis is split apart from her Hive thanks to the Windigo andis ultimately defeated thanks to them.
  • Ruby heals one of the windigos, creating the Reformed Windigo.
  • A huge battle occurs between the Crystal Gems, the Mane Six, and the Pillars of Equestria against the Changelings, the Tindalos, the Windigo, and the Pony of Shadows.
    • The Crystal Gems change their name to the Harmony Gems.
    • In an out-of-body experience, Steven converses with Stygian and finds out about his true motives, Stygian wanting the pillars' respect not their magic.
    • The Mane Six and the Pillars of Equestria free Stygian from the darkness, and the darkness is banished to limbo again.
  • Ruby proposes to Sapphire after the fight.
  • The Harmony Gems set up a wedding for Ruby and Sapphire. Eventually they track down Flint, and convinces him to return to the team and come to the wedding.
  • The Harmony Gems invites everybody to the first ever Gem Wedding. Ruby and Sapphire are married and Garnet returns.

Year Five

My Little Universe: Supernova

Summer

  • A big celebration for the five-year anniversary since the Crystal Gems and the Mane Six first met takes place within Ponyville.
  • The members of the Spirit Council (Quetzalcoatl, the Spirit, and The Mistress) arrive into Canterlot and warn everyone of the upcoming Everstorm.
  • All the Gems of the Harmony Gems isolate themselves within the Crystal Temple, and Discord agrees to use his magic to rebubble the Cluster the moment magic returns.

2nd Everstorm Passing

  • Everstorm passes through both Equus and Earth, due to them being connected years prior to the passing.
    • Celestia and Luna no longer control the Sun and Moon in Equestria. Equestria torn apart by Parasprites, and left in ruin. the Ponyville residence temporarily migrated to King Vorak's kingdom until after the Everstorm's passing.
      • Marks Celestia's death: killed by a mother Sigbin.
    • The Dazzlings Adagio Dazzle, Aria Blaze, and Sonata Dusk arrive in Beach City, and attempt to take over Beach City using what remaining Equestrian magic remained.
    • The Cool Kids and Jamie create a band and manage to drive the Dazzlings out.
    • Leviathan escapes her prison presumably during this time.
  • Twilight Sparkle becomes ruler of Equestria after the Everstorm's passing.

Season 8

Autumn

  • After her transformation, White Diamond returns to Homeworld, and nearly destroys the entire planet in order to forcefully take over Homeworld again, using her newfound magic to keep the planet together.
  • Steven turns 16 years old.
  • Steven, Lapis, Pearl, Peridot, and Bismuth arrive in Pink Diamond's Gem Warship. There, Gems cheer for the return of Pink Diamond and White Pearl takes Steven, Pearl, Sapphire, and Bismuth to White Diamond. White welcomes Steven (as "Starlight") back home and transports him to Pink Diamond's Palace.
  • All Diamonds decide to leave on a vacation in White Diamond's command. Upon this revelation, Steven sneaks Connie on board, Connie not wanting to be left behind again.
    • They arrive in Heiligdom. During the visit, Yellow Diamond is briefly captured by the K-Bora. White diamond herself frees her, destroying the K-Bora's home in the process.
    • They arrive in Farid. Peridot reunites with the rest of her cut. The others plan to leave her there since she was so happy, but Peridot goes with the Harmony Gems instead.
    • They crash-land onto Orthix. White Diamond ultimately changes her ways thanks to both Steven and the effects of the Orthix fog. The ship is later repaired.
  • Meanwhile ...
    • Grogar returns to Canterlot and overhears the news of Celestia's death, choosing this time to work his plan to take over Equestria.
    • He, Budgerite and Bray attack Canterlot directly while Twilight and Luna leave for the Convocation of Creatures. He quickly stops however upon seeing Spike.
    • Grogar starts sneaking into Homeworld and stealing Harvested Gems and Aliens from within the Diamond Palace, putting them all (including Sessile) in a trash site near White Tail Woods.
  • The Diamond Authority returns to Homeworld.
  • The Harmony Gems and the Diamond Authority prepare for the Era 3 Festival as a celebration for the return of both White and Pink Diamond.

Era 3

  • The first Era 3 Festival commences after the opening ceremony, signaling the start of Era 3.
  • Twilight Sparkle is captured by Tempest Shadow.
  • Grogar officially reveals himself on the third day of Era 3 Festival, and successfully takes over the Diamond Palace and as such Homeworld after poofing all four Diamonds single-handedly.
    • The Diamond Royal Court all becomes corrupted after Steven refuses to join Grogar.
    • Connie Maheswaran is taken captive, becoming corrupted as well.
  • The Diamond Authority is forced to stay on Earth.
  • Steven gets Jasper to train him on how to fight.
  • Jasper puts Steven, Emerald, Rhodonite, the Rutile Twins, Amethyst, Fulgurite, Pinkie Pie and Peridot under her personalized training course to prepare them for their return against Grogar.
  • Meanwhile, Flint, Pearl, Peridot, and Emerald scout out Homeworld, which is renamed Tambalon thanks to Grogar's rule. They all get their gemstones damaged during the scout mission.
  • Grogar decides to make Connie his upcoming bride.
  • Steven, Fulgurite, and Pinkie are poisoned by Nichrome. The other Harmony Gems eventually cure them all, and find out about Nichrome's involvement.
  • During this, Star Quartz and Padparadscha decide to go straight to Grogar to find a cure for them, but instead learn about the Plunder Vines who're under the name Sumu.
  • The Harmony Gems learn of Grogar's upcoming wedding with Connie.
  • The Harmony Gems return to Homeworld that night. Flint and Amethyst infiltrate Grogar's Army as a set of lost hybrid ponies. They successfully get recruited in under Tempest Shadow's watch. They find Connie and Twilight and reveal the plan.
  • Steven goes in himself after hearing the time of the wedding.
  • Garnet, Pearl, Peridot, Emerald, Lapis Lazuli, Rainbow Dash, Starlight, Pinkie, and Fluttershy venture into Tambalon to try and rescue Connie, Twilight, and now Steven. Pearl, Lapis Lazuli, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, and Starlight waited outside as guards for their getaway as the rest went inside, their efforts successfully freeing Twilight. They get found out by Nichrome and taken hostage.
  • Flint and Amethyst are tasked to kill the captives. Flint reveals his true identity and defeats all the guards himself. He and the rest go in without a plan, this time successfully freeing the prisoners in Tambalon.
  • Meanwhile, Steven arrives at Grogar's wedding and challenges Grogar to a duel for Homeworld. His army is ordered to leave Homeworld just beforehand. On arriving to the arena, Steven and Connie face Grogar as Stevonnie, defeating him and wanting to finish him off. Garnet arrives and tries to stop them, although Stevonnie refuses her. In a freak accident, Stevonnie "kills" Grogar and Garnet. This makes Stevonnie split, and Steven runs away from the scene.
  • All the corrupted Gems are placed in the Crystal Temple to be healed.
  • Steven tries returning home, but Tempest, Bray, and Budgerite stop him and tell him he has no place in Beach City. Lapis and Amethyst arrive, but when they hear about Garnet's "death" they panic and flee, leaving Steven alone. Steven leaves Beach City.

My Little Universe II

  • Little Homeworld is constructed on Earth.
  • Steven arrives in Fairfax, and temporarily stays with Onion's family while there. He meets the Dazzlings while there.
  • While visiting the Fairfax Ski Resort, Steven gets taken by a Phase Spider, and dropped off in Pink Diamond's Garden. He decides to stay there to avoid hurting anyone else. He meets Red Diamond during his stay, and learns about Grogar's return. It convinces him to go back to Beach City.
  • Spinel arrives to Earth within the White Diamond Space Station, bringing all the Corrupted Gems back to Earth, with intent on joining the Crystal Gems. Spinel is met by Tempest Shadow later on, offered to join Grogar's army. She eventually mistakes the Harmony Gems as working for the Diamond Authority, and agrees to work with Grogar to get revenge on them.
  • Steven reunites with Connie.
  • Grogar attempts to take over Beach City with Spinel's help, who using her Rejuvenator to incapacitate Amethyst, Garnet, Jasper, Lapis Lazuli, Pearl, Peridot and Pink Diamond. Spinel reveals she is using a giant Gem Injector to destroy the entire planet as part of her revenge, immediately making Grogar turn against her. Stevonnie arrives and fights Grogar. Stevonnie takes Ruby and Sapphire from him, and Sunstonnie appears. Grogar takes the Rejuvenator and incapacitates Spinel and Sunstonnie with it.
  • The Gem Injector is destroyed.
  • Steven ultimately saves Grogar's life, and forgives him for all he's done. Grogar refuses his forgiveness, and leaves him.

Winter

  • The remaining Harmony Gems learn Spinel's identity and more about the Rejuvenator before the poofed Harmony Gems reform.
  • Lapis tries terraforming the planet, catching the attention of the Harmony Gems. After a brief fight, she is poofed again by Bismuth.
  • White Diamond and Discord lose all their power thanks to Your Great Honor, for having too much power and for connecting Earth and Equus in the first place.
  • The Harmony Gems arrive in the Realm of the Gods, and try to convince Your Great Honor to change his mind, but failing to do so and are sent back to their world.
  • During this, Storm King attacks Canterlot without Grogar's aid. He is defeated shortly afterwards, presumed killed as a result. Tempest Shadow is saved by the Mane Six, and is promoted to captain of Grogar's ranks shortly after.
  • Lapis Lazuli reforms, but has her personality altered thanks to magic put on her by Bray and Budgerite, making her in love with Flint. Flint eventually drives both her and Spinel away, causing Lapis to flee Little Homeworld and dismaying Spinel.
  • Steven takes Spinel back to the Garden, and learns about Spinel's history with Pink Diamond, restoring her memory in the process.
  • While on a mission in the northern forest, Flint reveals Sapphire's future vision to everyone. A Fire Mammoth arrives with intent on eating Flint, and a fight ensues. Sapphire saves Flint from his fate, and they fuse for the first time. This restores Sapphire's memory.
  • Leviathan reappears with her "army". She fights against Yellow Diamond and Rhodonite, and takes Yellow Pearl briefly hostage. She is defeated by Jasper shortly afterwards.
  • The Dazzlings are brought back to Equestria thanks to Steven.
  • All Earth Corrupted Gems are cured, the very last one being Hessonite. She proclaims herself as leader of Little Homeworld.
  • Harmony Gems split up to find the Gems Hessonite drove away:
    • Yakyakistan re-open their borders to Equestria for the first time in hundreds of moons. During this, Ruby restores her memory. Ruby and Sapphire form Garnet once again after so long.
    • Bismuth and Flint visit the Strawberry Battlefield, and Flint learns of Bismuth's attachment to the history of the Gem War. The Gem War Museum is first suggested and starts its production in Little Homeworld after the experience.
    • Lapis, Steven, Connie, and Priyanka arrive to The Reef to find Pearl. In this visit they arrive to Seaquestria and later Mount Aris. Grogar tries attacking them on Mount Aris, but is ultimately defeated again.
    • Fulgurite and Emerald hold a contest with Rupee and Jasper, fighting numerous monsters in Equestria. This restores Jasper's memory.
    • Jade, Diopside, and Star Quartz go to the Spirit Council, befriending Your Great Honor. Their involvement releases Quetzalcoatl from his prison.
  • Grogar is kept prisoner at the Barn. Steven and friends try to re-educate him and reform him, showing him life and friendship, but they ultimately fail at this task. He remains captive for a few more days until his army managed to break him out.
  • Grogar makes a full assault on the Harmony Gems at the Gem Temple with his whole army while they were trying to cheer Steven up with Steven Tag. The Harmony Gems (while still playing Steven Tag) manage to fight off his whole army and driving the rest away.
    • It is revealed by Olson that Grogar attacked (and possibly killed) Nichrome's entire platoon afterwards since they ran away rather than fought the enemy.
  • Twilight goes with her friends to the Peaks of Peril. The visit cures Twilight's silence, along with the entire local population of Kirin.
  • Olson finds the Harmony Gems, and attempts to capture Steven in order to regain Grogar's trust. He is however persuaded and convinced to stop by Garnet and Steven, convinced to leave for Appleloosa instead.
  • The Gem War Museum is fully constructed and completed.
  • A huge flock of "Birds" invaded Beach City, feeding off of the sins many of the residence have (Gems, Ponies, and Humans alike). The entire town manage to overcome the flock through a meditation class, confronting and accepting their past sins. This restores Amethyst, Pearl, and Peridot's memory.
  • The Harmony Gems return to the Realm of Gods for one final trial. They manage to win, but Discord and White diamond's powers are stolen by Grogar.
  • Grogar starts his ultimate invasion on the worlds:
    • Ramicorn is completely destroyed, Grogar doing so for them sharing information about him. He also single handedly captures Canterlot, and creates a secret weapon bunker made from his own magic.
    • The Harmony Gems fight Grogar's army in the Realm of Corners. This fight results in most of the "Harmony Army" captured and taken away while Grogar leaves and confronts the Harmony Gems up on Homeworld. This encounter results in the deaths of all of the remaining Gems and Ponies. This helps Steven regain his powers.
    • The Crystal Gems and Elements of Harmony are revived by Steven's healing abilities. Revived and reformed, they all find and confront Grogar's ships. This fight stops Grogar's advances and defeats his whole army. Grogar also loses his magic from this.
    • Sumu is finally summoned by Grogar on Earth as a final means of revenge against the entire world for how much pain and humiliation it had put him through. Sumu swallows him whole and brings him to her core as she advances her vines throughout the realms. During this time she invades Empire City, Beach City, Ponyville, Little Homeworld, Canterlot, and Diamond City, later on covering much of North America. The Harmony Gems evacuate as many people as they can and rescue the captured members of their army, bringing them all to the Earth Moon Base to be safe from Sumu. Steven, Connie, and Spinel decide to confront Sumu, joined by Discord who helps them get into Sumu's core. Grogar finds them inside and has one final fight between him and Steven, leading to his ultimate defeat.
    • Steven heals Sumu after the fight with Grogar, and being reunited with Pink Steven, curing Sumu of her curse and stopping the invasion she was causing all over the realms for good.
  • Grogar finally surrenders to the Harmony Gems, and passes away, taken away by Red Diamond.
